Our Programs
AIASF delivers immersive 5-day youth camps in alpine settings that combine Connection to Country, Social and Emotional Wellbeing, Cultural Learning, Mentoring, and Snow-Sports. These programs are designed to inspire pride, build resilience, and reward positive engagement in education.
Camps can be run during both the summer and winter months. Each camp includes three full days on the mountain (this includes snow during winter and alternative activities during summer), where participants experience skiing and snowboarding, often for the first time. Alongside physical activity, our programs incorporate cultural activities, leadership development, and career pathway exploration, ensuring a well-rounded and empowering experience.
We partner closely with schools to co-design strengths-based programs that support attendance and engagement. From the initial planning stages to the final day on the mountain, AIASF coordinates all aspects of delivery — including logistics, staffing, risk management, and cultural safety — to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Participation includes:
- Accommodation and all meals
- Lift passes and professional snow-sports lessons
- Snow gear and equipment hire
- Custom AIASF hoodies, gloves, goggles, and accessories
- Leisure activities, yarning circles, and cultural sessions
A typical itinerary begins with arrival, dinner, and a Welcome to Country, grounding the camp in cultural respect. Participants spend three full days on the mountain, supported by qualified instructors and mentors, learning new skills and building confidence. Evenings include cultural and leadership activities before a final day of packing up, farewell, and departures.
Importantly, our support doesn’t end when the camp does. AIASF offers ongoing mentoring and leadership development opportunities for participants beyond the camp experience. We continue to walk alongside our young people — supporting school engagement, career pathways, and community leadership into the future.
AIASF camps are not just about snow — they’re about creating lasting connections, strong cultural foundations, and pathways to success.
